Another commission I got from Kallentsu
Maybe it was because of how much Ethel loved Alex, or maybe it was because she kept going back to his room for many nights after she was pregnant. But regardless, Helena was born very big and soon outgrew her parents.
She took a lot of her mother’s traits though and was very physically strong. Taking up a warrior’s mantle was an easy pick for her. She swings her large blade around like it was a short sword and paves her way through whatever obstacle in her way. She looks to help whenever she can as she believes it her calling to do so.
Helena keeps up a stoic face and persona. Seemingly unaffected by many things and continues to strive forward. She believes a warrior should be an unbreakable symbol of strength and refuses to show weakness.
All of this is a façade however, Helena is a nervous wreck underneath all of that. While she does believe in being a symbol, it’s also a connivant excuse because Helena has no social skills what so ever. She gets flustered and embarrassed very easily and fumbles her words a lot. Thankfully, she is good at bottling this up and keeping it hidden. Get past her wall though and you’ll find she folds at the slightest compliment.
Her half siblings all know this about her and they let her vent to them. Being shoulders for her to lean on… metaphorically that is, she is quite larger than all of them.
She is quite close with Serena in particular. Serena is a good listener and she finds Helena adorable. Helena is a bit ashamed to admit it, but she may be developing a bit of a crush on her half-sister.
Helena holds her parents in high regard. Seeing them both as figures of respect and justice and is proud to be a part of their blood.
