On a Telegram channel for tech-loving furries, users were mocking an ad for a contraption supposedly improving the efficiency of convective radiators. It was simply PC fans with 3D-printed stand-offs placed horizontally under the radiator. So I wanted to design a better system with three features : to be self-powered, to adapt to the gap between radiator and wall, and to send the hot air horizontally towards the user. The result is similar to the Peltier-powered circulation fans for wood stoves.
