How I Learned To Love The Bomb
As a kid, when the whole rock-paper-scissors thing got frustrating, me and the peeps made up non-canon gestures like bird, river, machine gun and the inevitable nuke. As I got older, I thought about gestures like Black Hole and Existential Depression... but by then, nobody plays rock-paper-scissors with me anymore.
On a side note: Enola Gay dropped a bomb called Little Boy. There were atomic weapons tests in the Bikini Atoll. Does anyone else think there's a theme running here, or do I need a vacation in a padded room? (Again.)

With training, one doesn't even need chemicals for altering mental states, though I'm sure there's a lot less random factor and the experiences wouldn't quite skirt the edges of Reason as well.
Me? I can get high at will. (My man keeps wondering how I can go from crystal lucid to stoned-like-whee in five seconds.)
Personally though, many times, controlled WHEE seems better than random whacks. ^_^
