
... Just a quick test of a rigging setup using constraints for the tail, need to play with the weight numbers a bit more to get the motion more fluid, and look into a decent way to have the tail sit static but curved while using this rigging

I've used bendy bones with a weight having a constraint before, but I wanted the tail to bend the other way so this is using... some kind of constraint, I don't remember the name but it's 12 bones that are linked in a chain to track a certain % so they'll catch up eventually. The root (actually one bone away from the root, I was too lazy to properly go in and weight paint because I'm going to have to redo it at some point anyway) is animated manually and everything else is handled through the constraints. May need to look into wiggle bones, my main thing I don't like about this method is (as seen here) if the root stops moving the tail straightens out and I'm going to want to be able to leave it curled
