Player handout sheet for an older ship (for their era) that they're purchasing.
Its obviously some sorta Q-Ship, but still has okay cargo for its size despite all the other bells and whistles it carries. 'Real' merchanters would beat it economically hands down ton for ton - its expensive as hell when brand new, and governments familiar with the class look dimly on strangers piloting these vessels.
In the next 30 or 40 campaign years a mess of these gone pirate are going to wreck the Star Rim Trail (the area immediately coreward of the main campaign region) if current trends continue. Then again, with the Terran Confederation Navy pulling assets out and closer to earth, all these little backwater worlds will have to either knuckle under and build themselves up, or slowly dwindle in population as interstellar trade slowly dies out.
I like to think of it as not quite military, but good enough for a character like Poul Anderson's Nicholas Van Rijn or his agents trying to hold back the oncoming Long Night.
