(Prologue to FurAffinity: WHAT? After many times the past few months I tried to upload as .doc/.docx file, it wasn't allowed, but you finally accept it as .ODT ?! 😠 ANYWAY...)

In what was my first-ever time I have gone to a talent show, I've decided to go and put my artistic abilities to words in print material.

For the theme of Further Confusion that year, it was about "Animal Business," but it is focused on money, the NFL and a bit of fursuiting at an extent. I will say that with the theme, there is a little bit there to relate to the con as some are having a business to steal like Carmen Sandiego and some furs that like to rob banks as a career.
Of course, as it was in good timing that in that time of year too that the Kansas City Chiefs ( www.chiefs.com ) were the defending champions and that again, they were going to be playing in the AFC Championship, this was fitting that I would devote the poem infamously to a die-hard fan of them. It was a bit rushed, but I got that idea as I did have my business degree, and that it relates to what I have been through- if you have been in attendance for FurCon's FC:Unleashed!, you wouldn't hear that I have been a gambler and lost LOTS of money. If it hadn't been with my parents and Gambler's Anonymous, I would have gone down a terrible path. Despite not having to be in much interest in the NFL anymore-unless the 49ers ( www.49ers.com ) are in the playoffs, I did not let any type of gambling be in my life and to end up like him, especially when he has his fursuit. Sentimentally, it did come from the heart, and yes as a game show fan, there is a little bit of reference to a person that appeared on Jeopardy! ( www.jeopardy.com ) when Alex Trebek was alive and hosting, and was also on the US version of "The Chase" on ABC ( https://abc.com/show/777df35d-2cfe-.....1-3e3d9e411077 [AND HE WAS CONTESTANT ON THE GAME SHOW NETWORK VERSION OF IT AND WON! ])
Yeah, what would have been if he were in the FF'dom? He would remind me of  irkingir's characters and  mr-pink if this is the case!
So glad I did not go to that pathway, and I would avoid BLFC and the two Vegas cons, FLOP ( https://flop.vegas/ ) and Las Vegas Fur Con just in case as these areas of gambling would be tempting to do outside play.

So, this is a nod to what I have seen on Amazon Prime or the ESPN documentary about him, and my struggles to abstain from temptation- journal in response to "Chef$aholic-Wolf in Chiefs Clothing" : www.furaffinity.net/journal/11040248/ - and hope that you like the poem and my ability to put art in words. There will be more like this, and I will be VERY happy to grow with it and make it a possible professional hobby for me! What do you think about it?

I did not finish in the top 3, but win or not, it was a great experience, and the audience really liked it, even the winner,  CassidytheCivet really adored what I did, and hopes that I keep going with such language arts. (A fine praise from one that is in language arts by singing and won!) 😄
