Spent most of my life taking care/raising 8 siblings, I realized i picked up 'being a mom' at a very early age cuz i had to while my folks were working. Now anytime someone i care about has a bad day my immediate thought has been to go 'mom mode' xD
However I absolutely despise being called a "dommy mommy", especially by people that don't know me cuz i'm not at all like that (if anything im super sub and follow orders...)

I kinda-sorta had to look up 'Dommy Mommy' because I hadn't heard it used that way. 'S'okay. My girlfriend is good at making people feel better (like when I got laid off 8 or 9 years ago). She earned her PhD in Psychology last year; it's what she does for a living and she isn't just good at it, she's the freakin' best.
But she hates stinkin' kids and she's nobody's idea of a dom.

Yeah that's something I tend to run into quite abit and even when you politely request for them not to do that people still do that, tho I've had this issue only with men in the fandom :/ I think its completely fine if people are into that and I'm even fine if i get called in jest but most strangers oddly seem to think of me that way and that just aint me <x'D
People unfortunately have a habit of putting those in public view, even a small audience as this, into boxes fitting their imaginations and wants.
I've been on the receiving end of something like that, and the stranger thing was the...for the lack of a better word, hostility, when I did things that did not fit the image they had built of me.
And yeah, I've only experienced that with men.
