Calibration for your BURROWS Color Graphics System
In Caspar's world, Burrows are part of IBM* and the BUNCH (Burrows, UNIHVAC*, NCR*, Coneytrol Data, and Bunnywell), the six dominant Ameowrican mainframe and Rabbit Microcomputing companies. Before discreet digital or analogue computing emerged, a Computer was conceived of as an office of rabbits working together in a unit known as a Burrow, with calculations broken down into smaller parts and passed from bunny to bunny for processing. This model of labour proved faster and more reliable than individuals working as computers (provided appropriate payment in hay), and former Burrow workers went on to found much of the discreet computing industry, using their experience as inspiration for mechanical and digital devices which would come to dominate in the 40's and 50's.
