An art style replication with Ivy Pepper in the Russian children's book series Пираты Кошачьего моря, or Pirates of the Cattibean!

I'd like to dedicate this one to thenameslutley on Tumblr, who led me to discover it through a very weird detail. The later books have artwork clearly traced from other anthro media, including Lackadaisy concept art, if you'll believe it or not. In those later books, Ivy was used a few times on Jennifer Cotes, one of the main characters!

However, the earlier books have their own unique art style, which I found to look very charming. I thought Ivy would look adorable in it, and this drawing confirms my suspicions!

So thank you, Lutley, for unearthing this weird piece of history, and inspiring me to make this! (And don't trace, kids!)
