Sometimes I do make food that is much less appealing to the eye, but it can still be pretty gosh darn tasty!
This particular bit of deliciousness (That really doesn't look all that great on the eyes) started out from having left over sausage gravy and... well I like gravy and eggs, so I did simple scrambled eggs, mixed in onion and cheese to it, topped with gravy, then some green onion and pimentos for flavor and color.
A lesson to this? Well...
For scrambled eggs, I like to add a Tbsp of Milk or Half and Half per egg that I use to make them extra creamy. I melt my fat in a hot pan, add anything I want to cook in there first (Such as onion, tomato, little bit of bacon) and then have my eggs whisked together. I season the eggs with a little salt and pepper, pour into the hot pan and immediately start to use a silicon spatula to move the egg around. When the eggs are near done, but still a little runny, I plate. They'll usually finish cooking right there and be nice and soft.
