During marching band practice in high school we would have our daily 5pm thunderstorm and, what I always thought was the coolest thing was, if you looked up as the clouds rolled overhead, there would be dozens of large vultures and birds of prey soaring on the wind of the storm front, so high up that some were barely visible specks. No other reason than for fun I would assume
