This is part of a series of drawings I did for a daily sketch challenge that I did with a friend!
I may have abused the pun here.
I had way too much fun with this prompt. I really enjoyed making my characters into little blocks and doing all the measurements. I especially enjoyed working with Caide's group and trying to think of what expressions to give them. For the record, the blocks on the left are: Nestle, Rose, Rick, Paula, and Fiona. On the right, the blocks are: Sol, Ashandra, Quill, Nikadiu, and Valerie. Of course, Leon and Caide are in the middle :)
Kudos to whoever guesses which game I blatantly based this fake screen on!

This reminded me how i loved to draw fictional game screens when i was little. ðŸ¤
Anyway... i'd guess Tetris Attack or Pokemon Puzzle League due to that double horizontal cursor, but i can't recall the characters facing each other between the boards there, like in Super Puzzle Fighter. Anyhoo, fun pic! 😉

You got it with Tetris Attack :) The SNES version has character facing off against one another like that. I thought it would be a fun style to emulate.
And that's fun to know that you used to do stuff like this as a kid! I always liked making fake fighting game screens and such, too.
