The Vilgorrah is one of the largest and fiercest mammalian predators in the central region of Eruth. Its plantigrade stance giving it greater stability when trying to overpower the megafaunal herbivores it preys upon. Targeting prey like the Gshnoof or the Boggadilus does not require speed; it's all about raw power.
Once the Vilgorrah gets a firm grip on its chosen prey, it will use its long, saber-like fangs to deliver a fatal, throat-rending bite. If the attack is successful, the prey will bleed out in a matter of seconds.

People living in regions inhabited by the Vilgorrah treat it with frightful reverence, always giving it a wide berth when encountering it in the wild. Mothers use the beast as a sort of "Boogieman", telling misbehaving children that the Vilgorrah will come for them in the dead of night if they continue to behave naughtily.
Old, sick, or wounded Vilgorrah may hunt humans if they become desperate enough.
