Marick is members of many wandering planetless. Markless mutt as hes kin is often called.

He left from his home Karavan (Ship or small group of them) due lack resources and over crowding. Hoping to get himself employed but found it hard.
He got lucky in gate station where young new mining ship captain needed talented shuttle pilots and she was not picky.

For young man he has hard time to focus at times when Captain Kiyaya is nearby as she hides not her curves that much ^^;
As other crewmembers Marik has most trouble whit ships miner boss Rolf how sees him as bad luck but fears young karavaners ''evil eye'' so he mostly leaves boy alone.

Marik has uncanny skill whit fluing and spatial awareness that border unnatural.
