I haven't posted anything here in a while, mainly because I haven't been finishing images with enough quality to post here. Check my telegram channel for sketches and stuff, I try to do a daily sketch there (which I think is why I haven't been focusing on finished artwork, oh well). https://t.me/miffyart

I love how Liam has a red collar, but also a red tie with his uniform. It's a cute detail. ^^
I'm also obsessed with the uniform pants having some extra fabric for the tail. I'm now considering the ins and outs of dress-code etiquette in an anthro world. :) This is some great (and fun) design work!
Edit: And looking at it again for another minute, I gotta say that this is one of the best drawings you've done on a technical level. Maybe you feel like you haven't been finishing images with a high enough quality because there's so much improvement here. ^^

Tail sleeves are something I've been drawing on my anthros for ages. I'm kinda surprised I don't see anyone else do more than just straps.
And I guess "quality" isn't quite the right word to use; I'm specifically not posting here because they're rough sketches as opposed to anything inked/colored.
And I have no idea what you mean by "on a technical level" but thanks for the compliment regardless!

I think folks just like seeing and drawing swishy tails is my best guess for that haha!
And that makes sense. I'm kinda the same way in regards to my work- full color, finished pieces only lol
I should've been more specific lol. The overall proportions of the character is quite appealing!
And I specified "on a technical level" because art can be good regardless of technical skill, or bad in spite of it! (Uninspired photo-realistic pencil drawings that simply copy a picture come to mind for a "bad" example. Like, yeah, it's impressive, but it's not interesting and isn't expressing anything lol)
All this to say that you're getting better at drawing AND your art is cute and full of fun stories and scenarios. ^^
Edit: my phone auto-corrected "swishy" tails to "squishy" tails lmao
