For a long while, too long, I have had the habit of being consistently inconsistent.

Making hundreds of personal characters to find one I liked but the colors were wrong, the species were wrong, the themes were wrong.

It confused me for many years why I wasn’t happy with any of them until I fell into a state of unwell, severe sleep deprivation chronic started ages ago now where in moments of sleeplessness in the quiet of the night came an answer.

It’s not the characters I disliked. It’s myself.
I don’t like myself.
