Followers of the plague deity will end up transforming once they get their unique plague blessing, this is the crow variant, those who transform into crows tend to be reserved and calm, diplomatic and patient, once again there are always exceptions to this pattern.
You're more likely to see the crow folk in passive roles like shopkeeping, providing services, and doctors, (thought regardless, both variants often have medical knowledge, as many were practicing doctors)

They mainly live in colonies usually deep in forests preferably, generally are heavily discriminated against by many but not all.
Such as on the Alternarian planet, they're a generally progressive people, they're allowed in places like:
Mainly anywhere on the Alternarian planet except for the northwest swamps, that place is a shitfest
Most galactic union- allied areas of the Novyrni planet.
And the Runec planet, they all hate eachother generally, outsiders get the same treatment but are generally welcome as much as any other
Omarasa allied places generally don't let them near towns may even attempt to kill them
Xui generally see them as pests
So do many human factions
This mindset is often transferred to demonoids too.
Not all want to devote themselves to a deity, so some people may go to these small out of the way towns for treatment, sometimes in secret.

I put the booklets on a shelf in my room, and the bigger papers in a folder

The plague followers have a specific personal plague, their special power plague pretty much kills any competition, they only have their specific special plague which can only survive in their own body, it's sort of made for them. (Unless of course their plague power IS supposed to infect others with something, which they'd have to go out of their way to attack in some way to do so)
