Blood, ashes and smoke were everyting left after the battle ended.

After a raid from a group of armed dark elves, all the soldiers from all the clans and willing citizens to protect the lands were called. Noticing the army of the rushing wolves getting closer to them, the dark elves readied their weapon and magic to defend against the savage wave.
Despite their magical advantage (the wolves not fond of magic users), the elves were swarmed as the wolves leaped on the soldiers with rage.

Hearing about the current attack, Lucius, Baldur and the royal army rushed out of the castle to join the fight.

Using their fire magic and enchanted weapons, the dark elvish's forces were trying to make the wolves stay far away by summoning fire balls and protection rings. The fields caught fire, ruining some precious resources and food.
The fight lasted long enough until Lucius, Baldur and royal army arrived to end the fight, slashing and slaughtering the rest of the elvish group to avenge the fallen wolfkins.
Furious, annoyed and exhausted, Lucius looked around the battlefield.

Unable to turn of the fire without the help of the few powerful wolkin casters, Lucius and the others participated to clean and remove the bodies. The fallen wolfkins being honored for their braveness and loyalty to the lands. The Savage lands would not forget this event, swearing to bring justice back.
