I can finally post this! 8D I think I started working on it in, like...July? But now the zine is out and it is full of art by so many incredible people! I didn't get to hang out in the Discord with everyone as much as I would have liked, but I am so honored to have gotten to work with all of these wonderfully talented people! You can see more of the art and join an auction for the last physical copies of the zine (which are amazing btw) below:

ID: Riding through the scorching Wastelands on a leaper, Seem smiles serenely at a triumphant Ottsel Tess. She's just fired a blast of yellow eco! On Seem's shoulder, Daxter cheers his girlfriend. Behind them all, Ottsel Veger rubs his sore tail, wisps of yellow eco smoke wafting from his backside.

I managed to order one of the last copies of the zine. I will see a print of this soon (unless it explodes in transit). Shame the organizer did not set it up to have a lot of copies printed, so everyone can get one.
P.S. I read your bottom text about AI, and I think (and I think I'm right) the core problem is the intentional misnaming. People think we finally have a computer that thinks for itself. That's not what algorithms are, but most are already fooled.

I'm so glad you got a copy! The way they were set up was that we had a long preorder campaign because this whole thing was just done by a small group of people. I think they had enough funds to order a small number of zines after preorders were done but that was the best they could do and it's usually how these little fan zines are run.
I quite agree. The use of the term AI is literally a marketing buzz word and it's completely ruined a formerly useful descriptor for a lot of things that are not the world's shittiest predictive text bots. One of many, many things I hate about generative AI. :D

Got the zine in the mail. Printing is near perfect (perfect is Vivid's Dreamkeepers and Mouseguard), binding stops me from seeing 100% of some of the spreads, but overall fine. Your piece is printed well, the blacks are as black as ink allows. Also identified your Seem sticker.
