Two souls - fire and ice, intertwined by fate.

In the mountains of Linzhou, where fogs intertwine with clouds, and rivers shine silver under the moon, guardian spirits lived. Among them was Hanlun - a fox-dragon with sunset-colored fur and a flexible body crowned with powerful horns. His unusual blue fire could be a terrible weapon for enemies and salvation for allies.

And in the depths of the Bamboo Gorge * lived Xuelin - a white snake with burgundy-black patterns possessing the magic of red ice. Her cold gaze stopped time, and her body wriggled in a dance that froze the water itself. But her heart was kind - she protected travelers from werewolf demons who thirsted for their life force. The travelers were afraid of the snake because they considered its ice to be bloody. And instead of gratitude, they often showered their savior with rolls.

Test of the Moon Jade

Once, one of the great sages summoned the spirits to the Festival of Shadows, where the chosen ones had to prove their wisdom. As a reward - the Moon Jade, which grants power to the guardian spirit.

But the test turned out to be insidious:

- Hanlun had to go through a labyrinth of mirrors, where each reflection tried to tempt him with pride.

- Xuelin faced the demon of doubts, whispering that her cold only harmed the world, and the people she saved from demons were not worthy of life.

When both were stuck on the brink of defeat, Hanlun, remembering the legends about the "snake that heals wounds with ice", shouted:
- Xuelin! Ice is not death, it is a pause before a new life! -

Her heart trembled, the patterns on the scales flashed, and she froze the mirrors, freeing the fox. Together they found jade... but abandoned it, realizing: true harmony is in the union of their forces.
