The last second. A moment of regret, or a moment of satisfaction? What would be on your mind?
Introducing my character Izarmarc, at a rather awkward moment.

There's an "Alice in Wonderland" feeling about this picture that I have never seen anywhere before. I could easily believe that what I am seeing is all happening in slow motion. Izarmarc’s flowing mane and his blissful expression are all very well done and add to the picture’s nursery rhyme quality for me.

Thank you very kindly for your comment! Indeed, I really wanted to try something different to what I normally do this time, and I'm glad you like how it came out ^^.
Oh, and I had looots of fun with the mane, manes are awesome things, and always interesting to draw :3.

There is a charm about this piece I really like. Genuinely, frozen in time as if he has eternity to contemplat things, yet still remains on the edge of contact with the water. It also seems surreal, yet real. I know nothing of the character, but he also seems sad, yet also entirely at peace some how, and happy. It tells me he went through something that was difficult, but he was glad to have gone through it, pehaps?
Why thank you ^^. That's what I was aiming for, actually! I'm kinda surprised the message came through with this picture, especially since I didn't actually explain anything about the context or the character himself. It's nice to have people try and decipher the story behind something, which is what people'll have to do anyway, unless I ever get round to explaining things a bit more =p. Anyhoo, thank you very kindly for the comment, I really appreciate it ^^.
