I bought a set at TJMaxx the other day that has the slightly smaller, all plastic versions of Celestia, Twilight, AppleJack, Pinkie Pie, and Spike. The only objection I have is that Hasbro has decided that Celestia should be pink. She's even white on the box art! Oh well, at least they are all up above my desk, smiling down at me.
Oh, and what I mean by that is that I don't think things like color accuracy are at the top of their list. What would be hilarious is if at some point they released MLP figures under the Hasbro Signature Series name (the one they used for the Star Wars Force FX Lightsabers), figures that are fully articulated and pose-worthy, with optional set pieces like the treehouse library, the barn, the sweets shop, etc.
I've been meaning to swing by Hot Topic *shudder* and see if they have any MLP gear available. If there's a Rainbow Dash hoodie or T-shirt, I don't care how much it is, that bitch is going home with me.
