"I can still remember the night I lost my wife like it happened yesterday...the chaos,the cries for help...my battalion failed in holding the gates and the interlopers flooded the city, we ran madly trough the streets trying to kill as many of them we could but they were too many, one by one they invaded the houses and butchered entire families in a fell swoop...my house was among them...I remember seeing the front door destroyed and I rushed in, I found two interlopers inside, my rage was so immense I cut both of them in half with two swings of my sword...but it was too late, my wife died sword in hand protecting our daughter, when I arrived she was mangled beyond salvation and Maria our daughter was desperately trying to reanimate her by calling her name and shaking her tatered body...we relive this nightmarish night everytime the interlopers mess with our dreams.

For several days Maria was lost in her own grief, she was not eating or sleeping, only crying, I stood by her side as much as I could but I could not bring her to smile again I was worried she would just wither away in grief, but for my surprise help came from a unexpected place, Lydia the royal wet nurse befriended my daughter, she took care of Maria with her soft motherly ways, she was able to make her eat, sleep then even smile again! I may feel powerless for not being able to help Maria myself but my daughter needed a mother to comfort her...and Lydia was more than eager to share her love...if she is happy with Lydia I'm happy too, in this era of nightmares any glimpse of hope and confort has to be enjoyed and I'm glad my daughter found at least a bit of it."
