2501 "Recovering."

Mark slowly woke up from the anesthesia, looking around sleepily, and immediately saw his wife sitting in the chair, next to his bed.
"Good morning, my love," Mark said weakly, smiling.
"Welcome back." Madeline smiled back, looking at him.
"Did I sleep long?"
"About an hour." Replied the woman, looking into his face with her serious and emotionless gaze.
"Madeline... Maddie... No... Don't do this... Don't cry... Please..." Mark said calmly, knowing his wife too well.
"I was worried! They took you to the operating room and gave you general anesthesia, and then they performed the surgery. They all had such serious faces, and then the nurse brought in a cart with all these tools..." The woman said sobbing her nose.
"It's okay, I'm safe and I'm fine." Mark replied calmly.
"You... You could have died and left me and the kids alone."
"Madeline... Maddie! Stop it!!!
It was just a tooth extraction. Do you understand that?" Mark asked looking at his wife, who nodded in agreement.
"Mrs. Madeline Madlax. I love you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you, and I would never leave you and the kids alone. Do you understand me?" Mark asked, and Madeline nodded again.
"Now wipe your face and act like an adult lady."Smiled Mark, watching Madeline happily wipe away the tears from her face.
"I'm so glad it all went well," Madeline said, kissing and licking her husband's cheek.
"You know, for some obvious reasons, I'm also very happy that everything went well," replied Mark, making the woman smile at this bad joke, kissing his wife's cold nose.
"I have a bad feeling about this~..." Said Mark, hearing some noise and commotion outside the door of the ward.
"How many?" Mark asked.
"They all... They didn't even want to listen to me when I told them to stay home." Replied Madeline.
"Dammit..." Sighed Mark. "Okay, tell them they can come in, I don't want to worry them anymore," Mark said. "It seems like this is going to be a long conversation..." Sighed the man.
"Dad! Dad! Daddy, don't die!" A disjointed chorus of voices was heard, as a crowd of vixens ran into the ward cuddling and hugging him from all sides.
"You do realize that this was a simple tooth extraction surgery, right?" Asked Mark, and the crowd of vixens silently nodded their heads. "You understand that I'm not in any danger?" The man asked, looking at the new nod.
"I love you all and I'll never leave you alone, is that clear?" Mark repeated his monologue with Madeline, looking at the crowd of nodding heads.
"Great!" Sighed Mark.

Mark is recovering from a procedure and Madeline giving supportive licks, kisses, and hugs. Other vixens are sure to join! Cuddling next to their Dad and don't want to leave him alone. It was very cute, - but honestly a bit annoying over time

I had a tooth extraction today, and Seth was kind enough to draw this cute little sketch for me.
Due to war and some ...other difficulties with my real life, I can slow down a bit and post various interesting things here less often.

Also please note that my story is in the process of being written, and most of these small fragments that I published are not in chronological order.
(Chronology always was a real pain for me.) So when I finish my plans I will try to put everything in order. If I even can...
I publish my stories in "dynamic mode", according to the available pictures, time, current situations, my mood, or in connection with the previous posting, etc. So I can often ignore the chronology of events.

SethTriggs For which I am very grateful for his help in portraying all this - because without his vision and pictures I would never have been able to tell this story. He really did a lot for me.
We still have "Tales of Chakona Discord for fans" - a cozy place where we usually gather. But after the recent ...flooding infestation, the rules were changed slightly. So ask around for an invite PM.
