Well, rather than create my own story, I thought I'd ask
ruco for one. So here it is:
The First Ruco, The Scientist
"Long ago™" Ruco was a scientist, physicist, strong willed and incredibly determined. He was the master of several fields of physics, special theory and often joked "Quantum Mechanics is my own personal Bitch"
Unfortunately one of experiments got him flung to another galaxy, almost to another universe. where he got caught up in a war between "gods" Races that where as ancient as they were unimaginably powerful.
The Second Ruco, The WarMachine
Coming from a different Galaxy made his genetic structure rather unique, and he was used as the template for a rather brutal and horrific WarMachine. What followed is his use in the Destruction of cities, the occupation of nations, and the slaughter of countless people before being moved from planet to planet by the "god race" that created his new body. The old original body, a mere curiosity, was now relegated to 'experiments'.
in time, some small part of Ruco began to awaken in the WarMachine. It began to realize that it was two 'people' and that it's creators were slowly killing its true self. Without much brain, but acting more on instinct, the WarMachine 'rebelled'. Turning on it's creators, freeing Ruco, and escaping. The WarMachine, despite wanting to help Ruco, was still a brutal and sadistic Killing machine, but had acess to all of the data that was used to create. Ruco, who was dying by now, allowed it to tap into his own mind which had the calculated understand of how to use that knowledge.
The Third Ruco, The Hybrid
What followed was Ruco's "soul" being transferred into the WarMachine. His memories, mind, essence, will, put into the machines body as his original form expired. This, slightly upset the Machine which now had to share it's form and wished to go back to slaughtering endless people. Ruco, now 'chained' to the WarMachines brutal mind, forced it under his control while he slowly made his way back home.
By the time he got back home, Ruco had changed. Everything that he used to be was now being used to keep the mind of the warmachine in check. All of his strength, his force of will, his calculating mind, and much of his memories, was all being used to keep "It" from escaping. What was left was a meek, shy and timid 'ruco' who could feel the machines programing mixed with what was left of himself.
And that is the real Hell of Ruco. Many Similar Sci-Fi Stories have a person, turned into weapon who struggles to regain his humanity sort of thing. In Ruco's case, he KNOWS that he 'died' and the body he is in now was nothing more then a purpose built killing machine, never designed for love or compassion. His control of it is ephemeral at best and something has to constantly keep in check.

P.s. I can't believe I forgot to post it. But I got a good excuse. I've been doing a lot of 9 or 10 hour works days and trying to get my own pic done during the process. A lot has been slipping my mind lately.

Yeah this was some seriously amazing work and I am SOOOO Happy with it.
Very much worth the wait for it and was so impressed all throughout the process of it being worked on.
Really the first time I've ever been able to have all three versions of Ruco together as well as so wonderfully portrayed.
Mostly Its awesome just to have others get to know "me" abit more

And it was done during 45+ hour weeks. Not an easy thing to do when tired but I did it.
It bring joy to my blood valve chamber when people like what I do.
I have a character that was literally reborn( a gray were-squirrel). she was killed when she was hit by the same car 3 times, died and was brought back to life in a new alien were-squirrel body. She got a newer, better alien were-squirrel body.

There has always been a persistent theme in Fiction of "Redeeming ones Humanity"
Ruco came about through the Almagamation of quite a long process involving bits from other characters I had been toying around with.
The concept of a one person struggling with their own evils is quite common. With Ruco it is taken to a physical extreme as he literally has to fight with himself to keep "it" in check.
Further, the concept of being "Reborn" is another common trait in fiction. In your characters case it would seem much more literally as well.

I actually did the a comic where Candy is hit by the car, dies with her best friend at her side and then her friend goes on a "hunger strike". In another issue, sometime later, an alien comes to earth with a flying were-squirrel that was abducted when he was a kid and they became friends, grows a new body for Candy, goes down to her grave and extracts her "soul" from the body. She is then "installed" into this new body.
Fhee'Khel (the alien) is allowed to resurrect one being from a planet. He chose Candy after he saw how much she mattered to people and her best friend, Meghan (who was on the hunger strike). Candy awakens, sees Darin (the flying were-squirrel) and falls in love. It hadn't occurred to her that she was resurrected. They wold explain to Candy that she was put into a new body because her old one had been decaying for a month. Like Alex Murphy in Robocop, Candy had to learn to live in this new body. While she was alive, she had doubts as to whether or not she really was alive. It turns out that this would cause her alien brain to severely short-cicuit. It happened that one time the problem got so bad that Candy went into this "rage" and attacked her friends. She went to her best friend's house where a pregnant Meghan was doing some light gardening. She grabbed Meghan by the throat and was going to kill Meghan. Thankfully, the alien had sent his niece, a three-breasted alien to go stop Candy (who wasn't actually conscious). Candy was stopped and brought back to station where she was put into stasis until Fhee'Khel could stabilize her. Eventually, Candy would accept her new life and nearly return to her old self. Meghan, stood next to the stasis tank and forgave her friend. She knew Candy wasn't herself.
More recently Candy was put into a newer body. It was determined the her original alien body had a few defects and a new one was needed. Now, Candy is stable. It is said that her new alien body will let her live for about 300 years.
I'd show you a pic of Candy's new body but there's a bit of watersport in it. She's watching two lesbian friends of hers have some fun for one of their birthdays. But I must say I like her new look.
I don't have the initial death of Candy comic scanned and probably wont since I don't got the time.

Interesting story.
I like the idea of a benevolent race going from planet to planet and giving worthy people a second chance at Life.
I think anyone in such a position would have problems at first and Lord knows Ruco has his problems, Candy of course had a much easier experience on her end.
Would love to see a picture of Candy, see how another race would remake a body, but I can imagine as an artist wanting to have it "just right"
I do think Ruco and Candy would become good friends. Kkowing someone else who "died" and got a whole new body from scratch would be a welcome thing for him.
Ruco doesn't exactly have anyone he can relate to in his position.
If it wasn't for another Warrior who took him in, he'd be living as a recluse by himself. And that just isn't healthy.

Alrighty, here it is: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5046572/I just had to make sure that it don't bother ya. You put a little trickle in a pic and people freak.
The seeds are like when the mad scientist in the old Bugs Bunny cartoons grew that orange monster or Marvin the Martian grew his minions from seeds out of a gum ball machine. Fhee'Khel, the kindly alien that brought her back to life, opened a pack of seeds (like a flower seed pack) that contained three seeds. He dropped them in a tank (like the one luke was in after Han rescued) and that's where the body grew. Candy's "soul" was then "downloaded" into the body.
By the way, here's an explanation of her new anatomy (pretty much applies to her newest body): http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1408237/ That's the old alien body in the "human" form with some of the earlier colors.
If you do a search for CANDY WOODS you should see on the first results page, a lot of the pics that mention Candy or have her in it. Some of the pics have her old body resurrected by my female devil, Her. Candy's original body was brought back to life, her personality was twisted and given the same patterns (different colors) and she was renamed, Evil Candy. You can't miss Evil Candy. One pic will show you how Candy's twin sons will be born while others will show her twin sons all grownup. The only thing is they will have to be updated because I changed Candy's look.
So take a look. There's one pic where Candy has Fhee'Khel modify her alien appearance so that she looks as she did before she died. I believe there's a short sotry of how Candy got the alien body in that.
