Good news New York gay couples, now he/she has no excuse to not commit.
Yeah, marriage has lost it's value ever since people just marry, divorce, and repeat, they can at least give an other group of people the chance to enjoy it and later do the same thing, no offense, but it's going to happen at some point, just think about it gays are no different from straights.
After a certain point marriage will mostly be used to prove that they really love each other(unless it's like their fourth marriage), just to have an excuse to have a big expensive celebration, joint taxes, insurance benifits, and other things I don't know about.
Soon everyone will learn that there's more to love than an expensive ring and filing government papers.
That was something rather long from me.

I would hope they eventually decide to make marriage okay for any consenting set of adults. When you look at world history and culture there have been ALOT of twists taken to marriage. I suppose it's only because we're in the information age that people are finally aware "Heeeey, we DO have choices!" And I don't mean just gay marriage - think about arranged marriages...or worse child marriages where parents essentially sell their kids to a wealthy bachelor. If they change marriage laws, it will and should deal with those issues too.


Fursonas...well before I declared myself a fur in any sense I was a transformer fan. During the show called "Beast Wars" they introduced the idea of instead of cars, trucks, and planes that the next generation of transformers could transform into animals. On the TF fan sites I dubbed myself "RedStreak" a fox transformer. As time passed that developed into a fox fursona who played tricks on guys like  BlueEyedWolf
From there, I started to grow my hair longer in RL and I realized it was analagous to how male lions have long hair. So my fursona became half-lion, half-fox. I think of my fox side as intelligence, and my lion side as strength - they're both elements a man should have if he ever wants to be respectable.

That's the best way I can explain my fursona and how it came to be, and I'd say apart from being less shy than my real self it simply represents me.

Thanks for the great comments and feedback. I think a bit of all of us take in a little of ourselves when we created our fursonas. Like Radar for example, he used to be shy and quiet, then when given a chance he showed he was more than just a simple farm boy.

Marriage kinda scares me in a way never thought about it thurly.

I know that marriage isn't for everyone. I'm just happy to have a partner that has the same ideals as me when it comes to that sort of thing.

I had two mates before but they betraded my trust yes you can say finding an ideal partner is tough. And your married?

I am not married. But it is nice to have that option if we decided to do that.

The gay marriage is a big step ahead in equality, is my opinion.

Very much so. New York was like the biggest one to accept it.
