This is part of a series of drawings I did for a daily sketch challenge with a friend!
This one has a fun little story associated with it. If you read Jael's story 'Crossing Over' in my gallery (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/24225612/ ), there's a big fight scene at the beginning where Kyle is blasting his way through the Citadel to free Jael. In the aftermath of that scene, while Kyle and I were talking about it, he asked me if Caide was going to resurrect all of the killed guards at once or if he did it one by one. I told him that I always pictured him doing it one by one, and we joked that, for as many guards as Kyle had defeated, that would be a terribly tedious process that would look something like an assembly line. So, for this prompt, I drew just that. Caide is putting life back into his demonic feline guards one by one, who then have to stumble over to Nikadiu to get their assigned weapon and get back to their post. It feels suitably strange and yet mundane.
