One year ago, on the 30th of March, 2024, Abel was cornered in a bathroom, and hit with a funny green rock. The event was mostly unplanned, though "zatzhing" being added as an actual, in-game item made it somewhat anticipated that it was going to happen to someone sooner or later. Abel just happened to be the most prevalent and regular human around.

Since we usually keep the timescale within Scavstation somewhat synonymous with real life, it's also been an entire year for Abel. While Abel is a very tired, temperamental, and nostalgic person, they have definitely gotten a lot happier as of late on account of having kids and a family. Still though, they sometimes wondered what it would be like if all never had happened. Probably stuck cooped up in a medical clinic, never getting out on account of their vacant immune system. So is what they have now really that bad?

They've moved on by this point. Tired of letting these things haunt them. They won't forget their old life, but they have a new one that they're mostly content with. So, instead of wishing for it back all the time, they'll just take a day out of the year to catch up with their old self where it all began, and leave past troubles to rest.
