This imperial coronation costume suits me well, don't you think? And you're wondering why I went to all the trouble of dressing up my fursona as an Emperor?
It's linked to my passion for history and also to my birthday which is December 2nd.
If I tell you, what happened on December 2, 1804 in Paris at Notre-Dame Cathedral?
On that day, Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821), who was then First Consul, was crowned Emperor of the French by the Pope of the time, Pius VII (1747-1823), Finally Napoleon crowned himself; he just needed the Pope for his blessing.
If you visit the Louvre Museum in Paris, you can see the huge painting by the painter Jacques-Louis David (1748-1825) of this event.
This was my History moment 😉.
