Veronica is a famous adventurer who go out hunting super rare treasures, she occasionally journey with her stepsister Jacqueline Chan, both of them have different views on how they deal with finding rare treasures. Jacqueline wanted to take it to the museum, while Veronica prefer to sell them to collectors for fast cash. Later on they went on their separate ways, until Veronica went to prison for stealing a rare artifact from a collector. Veronica managed to escape prison and work at the museum security guard. Veronica got the chance to hangout with her stepniece, Jade Chan. Jade look up to Veronica as a role model since her mother isn't around all the time. Veronica is a bit shocked seeing her niece take different animal form, but willing to keep her eye on the Talisman.
