Well, this is what I was doing for the past two days...
Big mountain, mostly a granite intrusive + addit + altered quarts veins surrounded by silica (a lot of low temperature stuff mostly) and a dash of iron oxide staining + me needing to take some measurements.
The wood is all dry rotted to hell, so I broke one of those big beams that had fallen to the floor in half with one hand. There are a few shafts in there that range from 60 to 400 feet deep, and a lot of stopes (...please tell me ya know what one is...). Over all, a cool mine started in the late 1800s and then mined a little more in the 1930s, but too dangerous for my taste (a lot of falling rocks and holes to fall into...).

Oh, and the mine itself at the end of the addit is about 250 feet below ground, and 340 from the entrance.
