This is just one of the options for how Oz and Mikha can meet after death.
What is important:
1. In this comic, Mikha is in his guise of a creature, almost becoming a deity. He moves and behaves like a beast stunned by anger, but he pursues Oz, not to kill, but to understand why he feels strange next to him.
2. Oz is in his new life, which he received with rebirth, a high-ranking priest, an Oracle. His faith and rights oblige him to kill every manifestation of other deities and creatures. Lights are the first matter that can erase the threads of any creature into dust. This is a curse and a gift given to him when he was reborn from the lights.
3. Mikha does not remember Oz and does not understand where he is, but he feels the love for his missing spouse, which he carried with him through a thousand years in the skin of a creature.
