Here's a quick tutorial I found that shows how to adjust the levels- http://danidraws.com/2006/11/29/get.....-line-drawing/ Doing it that way usually gets rid of very light pencil lines that the eraser might have missed.
There's also sketching with usually a light blue colored pencil ( but any color but grey works too ) and adjusting the colors to make them white which is also in the same link. That way all the pencil lines are gone.
