"Faith is a common thread amongst many Arcite societies in this world reaching into the past to the very days Arceus still walked the earth. It is a curious and eccentric sort they practice in the far west in Risirvati, however, where this passionately devout sect of Arcite customs has its faithful clothe themselves in concealing robes and don painted masks. In my time spent with the locals I've since learned the deeply spiritual purposes of these masks. Mimikyuans believe in a form of reincarnation handled at Arceus' discretion and upon coming of age they seclude themselves with painting supplies and a blank visage mask in order to receive divine inspiration of what pokemon they were in a past life, and thus, paint their new visage upon the facade. Only those with close familiarity are privileged to see their true face underneath, something reserved for dear friends, family, and Arceus alone."
