This suit is Annabelle, a bear made by the late Robert Hill that I recently had the privilege of restoring and wearing, as you see here.
To quote Robert:
"Annabelle, my first animal costume.
With some assistance of a former associate of mine, she was created in 1987. He showed some nice tips.
I used the same method of costume making that I experienced with my years with Disney.
I sculpted her head of clay and made a mold and fiber-glassed it, just like the Disney article.
In time I made over a dozen costumes.
In the 90's I found that drawing was less work and in '97 made my last costume.
Somebody had to start it..."

That makes her just a bit older than I am... quite a lot to think about! It was to say the least, an emotional project. But I am very happy to see her as intended again. She really is so sweet!
I'm happy to say that Roberts full collection of costumes AND art are safe and have been preserved for the future in my collection. I will continue to work on restoring the rest of them as I can, I hope to have all 8 costumes repaired and ready to see the world by the end of the year. And hopefully with some luck, you can catch one at a convention in the future!

You have no idea how happy this makes me to know that Robert's suits have found a good home. I was really worried his collection of art and costumes would have disappeared forever.
Thank you so much for sharing this! I would love to see more photos of this character. Or a video - I've never actually seen Annabelle in action. Just a lot of old 640x480 pics I remember inspiring me when I first got into the fandom

I'm very happy to hear that n_n!! I have been having a wonderful time going through it, and I hope that I can get most of it scanned in at some point soon.
And I should have some more video coming soon, I will be sure to share it when I do. It is quite a shock to see!

Oh... my goodness... I'm thrilled to once again be able to see the costumes created by the artist whose fursuit I admired!!
I'm so grateful for your efforts. I've heard that there are still eight of them left, and I can't help but feel excited at the thought of the day when I'll be able to see Robert Hill's fursuit again.
