I like the symbology and the suspension of the serpent. Not sure about the solitary use of color for the eyes. Somewhat imagine how it'd look if you stayed monochrome, shaded the background, and made the eyes light sources while keeping it mono...
But that is purely my taste/opinion on a possible variation. It is excellent as it stands.
