I recently recovered from a really bad stomach virus. It took so much out of me I just stopped drawing. The day before I was hit with it, I thought it'd be fun to draw Kiithi wearing an outfit that gave her a boob tent, but something anachronistic, like mom jeans with a turtleneck sweater tucked in. I only finished the linework for the first of these three images (the one on the left) before I fell ill and boy let me tell you that was the last thing I drew for DAYS. I wanted to draw more but I was so exhausted that I was staying up for maybe 12 hours a day at the most and my circadian rhythm got really offset.

By the time I finally got better- near the beginning of this week, I felt like experimenting. I felt like playing around with things like perspective, coloring, shading, things I had been neglecting because i was intimidated by them, I had always pictured this set coming out to three images, but I'd never pictured that I'd do something different with each one.

Leftmost uses watercolor brushes, middle is the perspective shot colored with a transparent brush, and right is as plain as it gets, hard shading to bring the most basic sense of depth to the image. I had a lot of fun with each one, but I'm ESPECIALLY partial to the middle. I feel like the method I came up with doing that one might inform how I approach color moving forward.
