Oh, yeah. I've been hearing comments about that creepypasta fanfic for years; I think it's almost as famous/popular as Fallout Equestria. I suppose I'll have to read/listen to it one of these days, although I have a vague idea of ​​what it's about... something about sacrificing ponies and draining them of their energy (or blood?), or something like that... put that way it's always sounded to me like forced and unnecessary dark/gory... I mean, it's not that I don't appreciate gory or dark plots (quite the opposite, they give rise to more dramatic, adult and serious stories) but it can't be something gratuitous, it has to make sense. And the canon series actually shows/talk about a very similar situation but making sense (that episode in season 8 where they mention that in the distant past, before Celestia, the Sun had to be controlled by a circle of 5 unicorns but that required so much magic that after doing it all the participants were drained of magic forever, so it was a situation of self-sacrifice to prevent the world from freezing and the plants from dying (that could easily be interpreted/darkened by saying that the unicorns simply died of exhaustion, but as it's showed in the episode it was a very upsetting situation already since they had to do that every day and in fact they even mention that it was unsustainable because very soon there wouldn't be any more unicorns with magic left)). That's why I was never very interested in that Rainbow Factory, I didn't see much sense in it, but, oh well... I guess I'll have to go to see it to be sure.
