The Zetan Artifact is a plasma pistol with a retro alien design, blending extraterrestrial and wasteland engineering. Its upper half comes from a crashed Zetan mothership defeated by a Lone Wanderer patrol, while its grip and trigger are man-made. A scavenger reverse-engineered its energy cells and attempted to sell them, but the Brotherhood of Steel intervened, leading to his death—though some weapons were smuggled across the wasteland. Extended lore and description
The zetan artifact
An alien, looking plasma, pistol, with design that almost looks like it’s come straight out of a old alien movie, or some crazy maniac from the wasteland. However, this weapon is kind of a mixture of both it has a very unique barrel that can be detached, and it also uses a special type of energy cell and it has a a man-made grip trigger, despite the trigger, and grip being man-made, the top is not in fact, it is actually a piece of the zetan mothership other half at least the ship the ship that was in lost the battle with a lone wanderer patrol the mothership manage to crash somewhere in the East Coast around this time a scavenger found the ships wreckage and found a whole room of unfinished weapons and cells over the span of five years, he managed to reverse engineer the cells of the weapon and he also then figured out how to make a grip and trigger for the weapon however and the turn a profit, he tried selling them to waste landers. However, the brotherhood caught wind and tried to basically take it from him, but he fought back and managed to give some of the pieces to some caravans that managed to smuggle them across the wasteland. However, eventually, he didn’t meet his end to the brotherhood and some of the weapons he had were stored away however, that doesn’t mean there are still some out there in the wasteland the weapon itself has a 100% crit rate like the alien blaster and it can also be found on level lists or the alien crash site
Eldridge artifact
A unique version of the zetan artifact, however this one is kind of older than recorded history itself found by Lorenzo Cabot In what is one of the few artifacts token from lost city of Ubar despite it looking like the zetan artifact there seems to be actual no relation to it whatsoever however, this weapon fires a red beam instead of a plasma blast and it also has the same devastating power. However, if the target survives getting hit by it, they go insane and also there is a little angry dude in it
Flatwoods terror
A unique version of the zetan artifact with with very unique purple cell and barrel, and it also fires purple energy blast it is unknown why the color is or really who made this version however, it was carried by a caravan from Appalachia who is hometown was Flatwoods and well let’s just say the brotherhood was hot on his tail he managed to hide it in a place where no one would look the top of the Salem witch museum and well. The brotherhood didn’t find it there, nor did the Raiders or the deathclaw even but maybe you is a Jetpack you might find it.
Nuka artifact
A prewar version of the zetan artifact not much information is known about it, or who the hell even made it what is known, it was made by the US military before the great war, and was delivered to Nuka worlds galactic adventure zone despite being discovered by an employee who was told it was alien technology. This employee was going to quit after realizing that this the galactic zone was basically turning into a giant lab instead of an amusement park however, the great war happen he survived, and he used it on a guy he was terrified of. It’s powered, however. unlike most people, he was very hopeful that it could maybe be is for good, so he hit it on in the tower in the galactic adventure zone for you to find
Anyways, yeah I know I posted a few extra models and I should’ve whatever but and also yes, there is some modifications as well. This is for fallout four and this weapon is actually based off of weapon made by the early Adam Adamowicz the guy who made some of the artwork and concept art for fallout three this was an early version of the alien blaster. We all know and love however, I kind of wanted to revive it. So yeah, that’s kind of a See ya
