Today 30 years ago on April 5th Juu Senshi Gulkeeva ( Beast Warriors Gulkeeva) aired on Japanese television on TXN (TV Tokyo) and was produced by Sunrise studio.
I found out about this anime via a parody sub in 2008 called 'Super Furry Fighters' which had only 2 episode's uploaded. Upon seeing this I seriously wanted to see more and in 2010 my wish was granted when a You Tuber called 'GulkeevaFurFan' uploaed all 26 episode's watch subbed in all (here's the link to his channle https://www.youtube.com/@GulkeevaFurFan/videos )
Sadly this anime never got a 2nd season and in September 26th 1995 the last epiosde aired which is a shame as this anime had so much potential!
From what I read there was a Manga by 'Shonen Sunday Super' and a Playstation 2 game that was released so there is hope for this lost gem of an anime.
I hope this will help celebrate the occasion and bring in newer fans who never heard of this anime.
