Meet Micheal, Rowan's 90s era reincarnation. Yes, I know me and Portal have spent far too much time creatively gooning on this dungeons and dragons stuff. It's probably going to get worse before it gets better considering we're trying to turn this into something bigger. Here's the good news, I'm sorry...

The afterlife boasts a lot of perks when it comes to spiritual retirement, but the one thing you can't do is have kids. And after a brief return in the 80s to stop the Godripper, both Dolly and Rowan miss rearing kids together. So shortly after their return to the other side, they decide to risk reincarnation and separation again just for a shot at making a family together again in the mortal realm.

So let's talk about Micheal, a somewhat troubled hybrid youth from a mixed species family. (There aren't 'hares' in our game, only rabbits. So I aimed for a wolf rabbit mix to get a 'hare' look. Plus it allows me to make Beastars joke.) Micheal comes from wealthy stock, his Dad (A wolf) being one of the pioneers of 'gaming' for the Tesla (No, not that Tesla) corp. His Mom however, is a stubborn, talentless nag of a rabbit who married Michael's father for money and prestige. Michael was never super close with his Dad. He was always a quiet, reserved wolf. Then when Micheal was 10, his father disappeared along with his personal secretary and was never seen again, leaving Micheal to be parented solely by his overbearing, bitchy helicopter mom. To this day, Michael isn't sure if his Dad ran off with his secretary, or if his mother had them killed.

Being a child of wealth, with no real problems aside from his mother being a nosy pain, Michael leaned sharply into punk/grunge music, dressing in ratty clothes, and a general rebelliousness. The fact that he can use and abuse fire magic only stoked his cultivation of his rather 'put upon' image. Had it been a decade later, he'd probably end up an emo kid. He doesn't like to talk about, or show off his family's wealth, and prefers to let his fire magic and skateboard skills do the talking.

Again, both too much thought and yet not enough. I don't know what their long term goals are, or where they end up. It was just fun to design them. All because Portal gave us the creative opening to essentially span 2 centuries worth of family and spiritual lineage to explore stuff with.
