"Solaris" was the name of a soviet made movie that was pumped out a year or so after "2001: A space Odyssey". as their version of the idea. Its been a long time since ive seen it.

Has nothing to do with your post but its title triggered one of those memories that never die and pop back up at random times...

I recall in it, there was like this music-less, soundtrack-less, dialouge-less 7 minutes of a view from inside a car traveling the highways of Moscow. The most perplexing thing in the movie.
