Slugger the Great Dane

Slugger, Suki’s uncle and Kim the Wolf’s brother. He’s very close to Kim, even though they aren’t related by blood. When Slugger was young, his original parents passed due to an accident. Eventually, Kim took him in as her brother. Since then, he’s been very close to her. The son of athletes, Slugger spends his days playing basketball and his nights as a boxer. His love for boxing was part of the reason how Slugger got his name. After Kim got into an accident which took her right foot, Slugger spent weekdays coaching basketball teams and weekends in boxing tournaments, hoping to earn some money for Kim’s surgery. One day, he was visited by G.U.N., saying they had opportunity for him. They said they wanted him to test a new serum for super soldiers and they would pay him a lot of money for it. Slugger had some concerns at first, but said that he was willing to take any risk to save Kim. So, he shook hands with G.U.N. and accepted their offer. Over several weeks, Slugger then began all the intensive therapy and prep work needed to test the super soldier serum taking every step very seriously. Then on the day of Kim’s surgery for her ankle, Slugger donated the money to her before testing the serum. Surprisingly for G.U.N., it turned out to be a huge success. The serum had Slugger greatly increase his speed, strength, hearing and instincts, he even gained a regenerative healing factor, allowing him to control the genetic structure of his body and anyone he touches. His healing factor allows him to heal himself from any injury as well as reconstruct body parts and resurrect himself back from the dead. Slugger is also able to heal others by extending his abilities to anyone who is on close proximity as well as restore strength of others. A year after the success of the super soldier serum, Slugger feared it would fall into the wrong hands if not endanger his family. A day before Kim got out of hospital from her surgery, Slugger snuck into the G.U.N. base, made a copy of the super soldier serum before burning the original copy and disappeared. The last thing Slugger did was leave Kim a note, promising her that he will return one day. To this day, his current whereabouts are unknown, but Kim still hopes that one day, she will reunite with Slugger when the time is right.
