One of three practice sketches I did while I was recovering from covid. Eventually, I got tired of being bedridden and pulled myself out of bed to get back in the groove.
A woman buys a new one-piece swimsuit with a belly button window to wear in her private hot tub. But just as she gets in, she accidentally knocks over a bottle of super-strong soap solution with which she was going to blow bubbles with. She doesn't dwell on it and simply climbs into the hot tub. But it isn't long before things go wrong, as the hot tub becomes extra sudsy. Within moments, bubbles erupt from the tub and quickly engulfed her in suds. From the sudsy mess, the woman emerges from the hot tub, trapped in a cramped soap bubble. Wasting no tim, she immediately begins to struggle, pushing and stretching the bubble with her arms and legs. The soap bubble is flexible enough that it doesn't give her much trouble making more space for herself, but the membrane only stretches out around her and refuses to break. Gently floating about her backyard, she tries to punch and kick her way out of the flexible bubble, but it feels like she's fighting against a stretchy plastic bag. Hopefully, the bubble will pop on its own in due time, but with how much soap was dumped into the hot tub, who knows how long it'll be.
