Despite his name, Phillip Bisque is not porcelain, but rather a fabric doll with a soft rubber face. He was manufactured at some time in the early 1960s.
Phillip himself is by nature a non-moving creature, created to sit and smile and be held by a child, or later, sit on a collector's shelf. However, he is inhabited by Wight, an agitated spirit that doesn't quite know what it wants. Wight can move the doll's fabric body, while Phillip remains in control of his own mind (his face always remains still, though he can speak with Wight's power, as the spirit has helpfully provided voices for each member of the duo).
Phillip and Wight rarely agree on anything, and tend to argue as their primary mode of communication. Despite this, they have become quite dependent on each other, and neither truly wants to get rid of the other.
Original design by https://toyhou.se/hamboree ! I haven't bought an actual adoptable in a long time, and have never tried buying a "gacha" style adopt before, but I loved all the designs in the group and had fun characterizing my result.
