The incident reduced her lung capacity from a 3.5 minute average breath-hold time to barely over a minute, forcing her to step down as a diver.
Despite no longer being able to hold her breath, her technological prowess allows her to keep working for the Diving Group long after she's stopped diving.

When fixing any piece of technology, Dusty's SPEED stat is considered to be at its maximum of 8 for the task.

Cost: 1 MP
Dusty's power can be used to take things apart just as quickly.
When fighting a mechanical enemy or threat, Dusty can deals double damage to them as she magically intuits their weak spots.
