Alex was made to help the pizzaplex with their virus problems in the future, he acts as an antivirus scanner during the day, but at night is put to work in parts and services. He was created by the parts and services team out of some custom parts they made at home, and discarded parts of chika and Roxanne, some of his parts are 3d printed, like his face/head and tail. His hands and upper chest are from a staff bot. He's their 'pet' project. I get the feeling somebody on the tech team likes being able to see his inner workings a biiiit too much. thus the clear frosted parts.
