It matters to me a little, I like memorizing footwear that I've never known the names of. Like how I was very intrigued by what is called the "Kung Fu Shoe". It's alternatively named "Tai Chi Shoe", and or "Martial Arts Slippers" but I never knew the name of it and only recently wanted to know the true name, and was unfortunately slapped in the face by the most well-known term for them, that being the first name listed.
