Cats love boxes. Doesn’t matter what size of cat, they will get in, they will play. If they fit, they will sit, if they don’t fit, they will make it fit and then they sit.
This piece is a play on that, with Kai Tak’s name being that of the old airport in Hong Kong (it closed in 1998). The markings on the box are to commemorate the route I flew to get to Hong Kong, and the icon above it is the logo of the airline, Cathay Pacific.
