Her hunting expedition had been a long and mostly unsuccessful one. Aurora spent several hours of following deer paths and small trails with no luck on a quarry. When she was about to end her hunt and return to the town she heard the snap of a twig. Not far from where she stood, the velveted antlers of a young buck poke out from between the bushes. Silently Aurora pulls an arrow from her quiver and draw her bow to wait for the shot. The young deer unsuspecting of what fate awaits him as he walks into the clearing between the trees.
